“A sport the whole family can enjoy!”

Centershot Archery 101: This eight week introductory course to the sport of archery will be taught on Monday evenings at the First Baptist Church of Urbana located at 401 N. Main Street for eight weeks from 6-8PM beginning January 13th. This course will cover archery basics in our indoor shooting range and will include some biblical teaching on the basics of the Christian faith. Refreshments will be provided.

Centershot Archery 102: Participation in this course requires having completed the introductory Centershot Archery 101 course. This eight week course will involve more advanced archery instruction and the opportunity for some informal and fun competitive shooting. The course will be taught on Tuesday evenings at the First Baptist Church of Urbana located at 401 N. Main Street for eight weeks from 6-8PM beginning January 14th. This course will be taught in our indoor shooting range and will also include some biblical teaching on Christian discipleship. Refreshments will be provided.

  Note: Both courses are open to adults and children who are in fourth grade, or above. Participants will be asked to sign a waiver and release form. A parental permission form will need to be completed for anyone under 18 years of age.  

Cost: There is no charge. All equipment is provided.

General Information: Archery is a sport the whole family can enjoy! Centershot has been proven to help develop discipline, self-esteem, confidence, character, closer-knit families, and a foundation for faith. The archery component of Centershot is modeled after the National Archery in the Schools Program. Our instructors have been trained to help children and adults learn archery in a positive and safe environment.
