Children's Ministry

FBC is very involved with the children for they are a crucial part of our present and future! The Children's Ministry offers:

Sunday Morning Classes are arranged by age groups. These classes help children grow in the faith and learn about Jesus through great materials and Christ-like teachers.

Children's Church and Toddler's Church- The children up through 5th grade are dismissed from worship before the sermon to have their own Children's and Toddler's worship time to reach them on their level.

Kid's Club - meets every other Wednesday evening from 6-7:30 during the school year. They have a time of fellowship, games, learn verses, and listen to a message from the Bible. (September - May)

Jammin' with Jesus- meets every other Wednesday evening from 6-7:30 during the school year.  The children have a time of singing, playing bells and games. (September - May)

Safeguarding Children and Youth Policy:
First Baptist Church takes seriously our responsibility for the well being of children and youth under our care. Before someone is approved to be a children/youth worker, he, or she must have been active in the church for at least one year, submit a written application, go through a screening process, complete training, be interviewed, and be approved by the church board. We also have a two adult rule that requires the presence of two adults approved as children/youth workers to ensure adequate supervision and accountability. The policy requires reporting of incidents, or suspected abuse.
