Men's Ministries

The men's ministry goal is to reach increasing numbers of men for Christ and offering ways for them to serve the Lord. Worship services, ministry opportunities, and activities of the church are designed to hold appeal for men, without neglecting the needs of women, youth and children. Activities have included sports outings, Father's Day picnic, target shooting, and other activities.

On the national level, the three key points of American Baptist Men is to reach men and boys for Christ. ABMen explores issues of how men and boys hear and respond to the good news of Jesus Christ. We communicate God's redeeming love-Man-to-Man.

American Baptist Men work in partnership with the American Baptist National Minsitries Disaster Response Network together with the Office of National Disaster Response and Volunteers in Mission. ABMen brings hope to those whose lives have been devastated by disasters in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. A fleet of trailers across the USA roll into action for cleanup, repair and initial rebuilding. Short-term volunteers work cooperatively with Church World Service, the Federal Emergency Management Association (FEMA), Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD), and the Amercian Red Cross. It's first aid for the soul- ABMen putting their hands to work, showing God's love where hope seems lost.

American Baptist Men strengthens the spiritual life of men and boys. ABMen strives to fullfill the Great Commision, to make more and better disciples of Jesus Christ. For more information see the American Baptist Men's website at www.ABMen.org.
