The First Baptist Church of Urbana exists to fulfill the call to love God, love one another, and go into all the world as summarized in Matthew 22:37-39 and Matthew 28:18-20. With this overarching call in mind; we have discerned our strategic focus as:

- Focus: We prioritize the use of our efforts and resources to fulfill our mission.
- Abundance: Through the praying life and other means we seek more of the abundant life of abiding in Christ.
